I heard about a little baby boy who was born in a very humble home in the Swiss Alps. The stable was right in the house, so the cattle and sheep lived in the same building as the family. The baby did not even have a cradle. There was a table in the middle, a ladle for soup, and some candles.
This was a very special family. They were loving and gentle, sensible, capable and reliable, not at all fickle. They were grateful for a roof over their heads where the mother and father could settle down and cuddle their adorable baby boy. I’m sure they watched here little bundle of joy wiggle and gurgle like other parents.
J'ai entendu parler d'un petit garçon qui est né dans une maison très modeste dans les Alpes suisses. L'écurie était juste dans la maison, donc le bétail et les moutons vivaient dans le même bâtiment que la famille. Le bébé n'avait même pas de berceau. Il y avait une table au milieu, une louche pour la soupe et des bougies.
C'était une famille très spéciale. Ils étaient aimants et doux, sensibles, capables et fiables, pas du tout inconsistants.
